Christine Teeters Myers, PhD, OTR/L
Dr. Christine Myers is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She is currently funded through a post-doctoral fellowship from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy to study the professional competence of occupational therapy practitioners. Dr. Myers has been an occupational therapy educator for over a decade and served as a co-project director for an inter-professional training grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Her previous research focused on early childhood transitions for children with special needs and inter-professional education in the health professions. Clinically, her work has been primarily with young children and their families as a hospital and community-based occupational therapist.
