The Masters in OT program would like to introduce our newly appointed Academic Fieldwork Coordinator! Ms. Linda Struckmeyer will be our new coordinator. She is a full time faculty member teaching in the classroom and working with sites and students in fieldwork education. Ms. Struckmeyer has an extensive background in pediatrics and most recently in home care. She is currently a PhD student at Texas Women’s University.

We also welcome two new faculty members. Dr. Jessica Johnson will be a full time instructor in the MOT program. She comes to us with a clinical background in home and skilled care. She earned her PhD in the UF Rehabilitation Science Doctoral program. Dr. Johnson will be instructing the skills class this semester and serving as a professional development mentor.

Dr. Leigh Lehman will be teaching part time in the program and will have a research position in the VA. Dr. Lehman received her master and doctoral degree from the University of Florida. She returns to UF after teaching at the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Consuelo Kreider will now be a full time faculty member in the OT department. She will continue to instruct courses, but will also build on her research interests in youth and young adults with conditions that impact participation and performance.

In another change, Dr. Joanne Foss has accepted the position as Associate Chair of the OT Department. She will continue as the Director of the MOT program.
