The UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute honored Consuelo Kreider, PhD, OTR/L, with membership in the Academy of Research Excellence at their awards dinner this month. The academy rewards excellence in clinical research with an emphasis on research integrity, ethics and professionalism. Dr. Kreider graduated from the UF Rehabilitation Science (RSD) doctoral program in the spring of 2013. Her research has focused on social networks and participation with others for youth with learning, attention and autism spectrum disorders as well as on the holistic needs of university students with disabilities. She recently received appointment to the RSD graduate faculty.
