The Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED) Board has appointed Dr. Sherrilene Classen as Chair of the ADED Research Committee, effective 1 April 2022 – 31 Dec 2024.
Having worked for 20 years as a driver rehabilitation scientist, Dr. Classen states that she is very excited to lead the Research Committee in expanding the evidence base of driving rehabilitation.
She envisions to work with the committee, nationally and internationally, to
- increase access to the evidence-base of driver rehabilitation,
- enhance the rigor of ADED’s research agenda,
- expand research resources to ensure confluence between best evidence and best practices, and
- increase (inter)national visibility for driving rehabilitation as an evidence-based discipline.
