Second year OTD students experience virtual reality as a potential rehabilitation approach and intervention in their OTH6622: Occupation-Based Practice, Participation & Health course with Dr. Suny Darcy, OTD, OTR/L.
Students were presented with current evidence and application of Virtual Reality in different populations and settings. After, students had the opportunity to try each system and experience the interventions themselves. Students were able to engage in preparatory, occupation-based and mental-health focused interventions in class.
