About Carolyn S Hanson

Dr. Carolyn Hanson is a Clinical Assistant Professor who returned to the Department of OT in 2018. She was a faculty member for many years at UF and her past research was in the area of ergonomics and work hardening. She is teaching undergraduate students in the BHS program (Survey of Diseases and Disabilities l and II) and recently transitioned the course entitled Occupation and Participation Across Cultures (summer B elective part of the International Scholars Program) into an online course with a virtual exchange component. Dr. Hanson is interested in creating sport and recreational opportunities for adults with physical disabilities and was faculty advisor for the UF Wheelchair Basketball Association for 3 years before placing the club on hold due to lack of participants with physical disabilities.
