Linda R. Struckmeyer, PhD, OTR/L
Linda Struckmeyer joined the University of Florida in 2008 as an adjunct faculty member in the Masters of Occupational Therapy program. Dr. Struckmeyer now serves as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Doctoral Experiential Component Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor. She received her B.S. in occupational therapy from Washington University in 1982 and her M.A. from Texas Women’s University in 2004. Dr. Struckmeyer has a specialty certificate in School-Based Occupational Therapy and was a certified Assistive Technology Professional for 13 years. Throughout her career, she has worked in home health care, school districts, head start, skilled nursing facilities, acute care, psych and outpatient. Her current research is in aging in place and the home assessment of persons with dementia and their caregivers. In addition to her responsibilities at University of Florida, she enjoys reading, quilting and volunteering in community activities.
