About Emily S Pugh
Emily Pugh is a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, specifically awarded for exemplary leadership, education, and facilitating client safety. Ms. Pugh has a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Rollins College and currently is completing a doctorate in occupational therapy from Chatham University with a research focus on mindfulness training to reduce student stress and anxiety. As a member of the teaching faculty since 2003, she is actively involved in curriculum development and instruction in psychosocial occupational therapy, occupational therapy theory, occupation-based practice and rehabilitation, and occupational therapy service delivery. Ms. Pugh’s interests include student mental health, client safety and reduction of medical errors, and adult learning.
