Our alumnus of the year, Dr. Stagliano, graduated from the Masters in Health Science program. Students know her from her role as an adjunct instructor in the MOT program. Local OTs know her from her years as a local OT clinician at both UF Health and the Malcom Randall VA.
Heather M. Stagliano, DHSc, OTR/L, is the Director of Accreditation at the American Occupational Therapy Association in Bethesda, Maryland. She has nearly 19 years of experience in occupational therapy practice and most recently served at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Palo Alto, California. Prior work in accreditation included serving as a member of the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy (ACOTE) and on the Roster of Evaluators (RAE) since 2010. In addition to her clinical practice, she served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Florida from 2007-2010.
