Dr. Jamie L. Pomeranz has been on faculty within the College of Public Health and Health Professions since 2004. Recently, Dr. Jamie Pomeranz was appointed as the Director of the Social and Behavioral Science concentration in the PhD program in Public Health and as the Coordinator of the Social and Behavioral Science Program Faculty. He also serves as the Director of the Driver Rehabilitation Therapy Certificate Program and leads our Continuing Education Program within the UF OT Department. Dr. Pomeranz takes great pride in mentorship and made it a major part of his daily activities. He currently mentors three junior OT in addition to his mentorship activities with the Social Behavioral Science Public Health Program. Dr. Pomeranz serves on the Leadership and Chairs Council, which both provide critical support to the department chair, faculty, and staff. Finally, Dr. Pomeranz holds primary teaching responsibilities within the Bachelor of Health Science and Public Health Programs. Dr. Pomeranz’s affable personality makes him a great colleague and leader within the UF OT Department.
